We’ve designed our intake process to be as painless and straightforward as possible. It starts with a free 15-minute virtual consultation to make sure we’re a good fit. After that, our warm and helpful office manager, Adrian, will walk you through the next steps. You’ll complete your forms online through our secure, HIPAA-compliant client portal, and then we’ll schedule a series of appointments in advance to give you a consistent spot that fits your schedule.

While we’re not in-network with insurance, we’re happy to support you in using your benefits. We can provide detailed superbills or invoices, and we also offer complimentary electronic claim submission to help with reimbursement. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to make sure you have out-of-network coverage—we’re here to make the process as smooth as possible.

We do offer sliding scale fees on a case-by-case basis, typically for short-term support when it fits the situation. If you’re interested, please reach out and we can discuss what might work best for you. Our goal is to make therapy as accessible as possible while providing the care you deserve.

Individual sessions are 50 minutes. For couples, we typically start with 90-minute sessions to give us plenty of time to settle in, and then often move to 60 minutes as we go. We’ll always tailor the timing to what feels most supportive for your needs.

It really depends on your goals and what you’re hoping to work on. Some clients come for a short time to address a specific concern, while others stay longer for deeper, ongoing support. Our goal is to help you make consistent, meaningful progress—without ever rushing the process. We’ll check in regularly to make sure therapy continues to feel helpful and aligned with your needs.

We work with individuals and couples. You might seek support solo if you're working through relationship patterns, sexual concerns, or emotional healing on your own timeline.

Sometimes, yes—especially during busy seasons. If we’re not able to schedule you right away, we’re happy to add you to our waitlist and will reach out as soon as a spot opens. Our goal is to get you the support you need as soon as possible, and we’ll always do our best to keep the wait time reasonable and stay in touch throughout.

Not at all. Many people come to sex therapy as individuals to work on their own concerns, whether it’s about desire, confidence, past experiences, or personal growth. You don’t need to be in a relationship to benefit from sex therapy—we’re here to support you wherever you are on your journey.

Yes, we can. Sometimes working with a friend or family member can be helpful, depending on the situation and goals. We’ll make sure everyone feels comfortable and supported, and we’ll discuss the best way to approach your unique needs together.

While couples therapy sometimes includes individual sessions when it makes sense, it’s generally not best practice to work with the same client individually and as part of the couple at the same time. We focus on what’s healthiest for the relationship and each person, and we can help guide you toward the best approach for your situation.
